I'm starting rehearsals this week at Burton Hall in Easton, NY for a musical called Sweet Charity.  My role in this is a fandango dancer/dance hall hostess.  I'm excited, this should be fun and interesting.  I'll post more details about this on Myspace soon...  p e a c e

I'm getting really excited about going to the recording studio this weekend!  I hope I do well^_^

I'll most likely be going to open mic at the OSI in Greenwich again this week (every thurs. @ 8pm).  I performed four songs down there last week..  Rockin' In The Free World jam session (no vocals), The Redemption Song and two of my tunes..  Sun Moon Rain and It Hurts To Feel..  all with drums and lead guitar in the mix..

Last week I also attended about a five hour jam session at the Remainders practice space and played mostly originals and some covers with drums, bass and tambourine, that was very fun as well!

I've been so used to playing alone for so long it definitely makes things more interesting with other instruments in the mix but I do enjoy playing alone as well^_^ 

Rehearsals for the Opera are going pretty well.  Singing with this theatre ensemble has made me find air when there was none there..  especially during a sequence of Oh's at the end of the performance.  Also I'm learning some warm up exercise techniques to relax before singing and things like that.  I actually sang everything tonight without looking at the sheet of words..  dress rehearsal tomorrow^_^
